This week our Year 3 children explored mosaics by looking at their different designs, patterns and where they originate. Pupils observed that a lot of the mosaics are made from square or triangle tiles which fit together to make a shape, pattern or animal. The class then had a go at designing their own using watercolours to create some beautiful contrasts in colour.
