Last week pupils were learning about all things Burns Night!
The celebrations kicked off with a traditional Scottish breakfast feast, where our breakfast club got to sample some potato cakes and Scottish oats. The catering team even made some delicious shortbread for pupils to try at lunch!
The whole school took part in a Robert Burns assembly, learning about why he is important in Scottish history and literature, as well as the ways Scottish people celebrate. Our children ended the day by listening and rehearsing some famous poems written by Burns himself!
Och aye!
