Last week, the children of Diamond Hall marked World Children's Day by adding a hint of blue to their usual uniform!

World Children's Day is a day for children all over the world to understand and recognise their rights, fight for them and fulfil their potential. As a Gold Rights Respecting Award school, we feel this is something that is vital to promote.

As part of the day, the children were challenged to create a piece of artwork using only blue, showing their interpretation of hope.

Maisie said: "The drawing challenge was an interesting way to think about how to make the most of the limited materials we had available." Olivia added: "Spending time reflecting on hope made me think about my own hopes and dreams and how other people's compare."
