Today, pupils and staff swapped their uniforms for onesies and Pudsey ears to help raise money for Children in Need.

BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK charity. Since 1980 it has raised over £600 million for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Lots of schools across the country like to get involved with the fundraising, and we decided a non-uniform day would be the best way to raise money. So far, a total of £268.72 has been raised with some still to be counted. Well done everyone!

We started the day with a special awards assembly where we thought about the children that are being helped by Children in Need. As a rights respecting school, we know that unfortunately not all children get access to the rights that they deserve and we hope the money we have raised helps to correct this.
